Northamptonshire primary pupils raise £1,000 for charity with fun run

Pupils from three Northamptonshire primary schools helped to raise more than £1,000 by taking part in their own fun run.
More than 1,200 children from schools under the Hatton Academies Trust joined forces to raise a grand total of £1,110 last Friday in the HAT Fun Run.
The final totals raised by the schools were: Oakway £373.37, Victoria Primary Academy £581 and Ecton Village £152.35, with the total rounded up to £1,110.
The event was a great success, with Wellingborough mayor Malcolm Waters in attendance to present medals to the runners.
