Sir Christopher Hatton Academy is the highest performing Academy in Northamptonshire
The Department of Education have published their performances tables which show comparisons across schools based on secondary (key stage 4) results for the 2015/16 school year.
Sir Christopher Hatton Academy comes out as the top school in the County. The new measure, Progress 8 demonstrates progress made by students between year 7 and year 11 when they complete their GCSEs. It measures performance in 8 subjects including maths, English, ebacc subjects such as science, languages, geography and history alongside a broad range of other subjects from the curriculum as a whole.
We are delighted that the performance tables confirm our Outstanding Ofsted in March 2016 and shows that we are not only the highest performing school within Wellingborough but also across the whole of Northamptonshire. This is a testament to the hard work of the students and the staff and I would like to thank them all for their commitment and focus in ensuring our children have the best possible outcomes and life chances.
We are extremely proud to say we are the highest performing Secondary School within Northamptonshire , this is a fantastic demonstration of the work we do day in and day out for our Students.
